Catherine Ann MCCartt

Catherine Ann "Gobie" McCartt of Rockwood, Tennessee, journeyed to be with her Heavenly Father on June 11, 2026, at the age of 75. While her passing was unexpected, her family takes deep comfort in knowing that she did not suffer and spent her final day surrounded by the love of her family.

 Affectionately known to her loved ones as "Gobie," Catherine was a private woman whose entire world revolved around her family. She was the proud matriarch of a five-generation family, finding her greatest joys in life's quiet moments-easy mornings, a hot cup of coffee, and visits from her grandchildren. Seeing her great-grandchildren always brought a radiant smile to her face. She will be deeply missed by the family she left behind, but she will live on forever as "Gobie" in their hearts.

 She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, J.D. McCartt; her son, Robert Shane "Tito" Reynolds; her sister, Dawn Aragon of New Mexico; and her brother, Michael Beal

.Her legacy lives on through her three surviving children: Jessica (Michael) Adkins of Wartburg, TN; Brian Reynolds of New Mexico; and Damian Reynolds of Tennessee. She also leaves behind eight beautiful grandchildren who will never forget their "Gobie": Nicholas (Chelsea) Martin of Oak Ridge, TN; Amber (Brady) Harber of Oak Ridge, TN; Nevaeh Reynolds, Kazmirah Reynolds, Bella Reynolds, and Kayla Reynolds, all of Wartburg, TN; and Deeanna Perez and Robert Reynolds, both of Florida. Her love further extends to her precious great-grandchildren, Cyrus Martin, Beren Martin, and Evelynn Harber, all of Oak Ridge, TN, as well as many other great-grandchildren.
