Carolyn Sue Kilgore

Carolyn Sue Kilgore, 64 a longtime resident of Dayton, TN passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026 at the home of her daughter. Carolyn was born in Chattanooga, TN on October 25, 1961 a daughter of late Clarence & Linda Kilgore. She was a graduate of Soddy-Daisy High School. Carolyn worked for 8 plus years at Lear of Dayton, TN and then another 10 plus years at Kayser Roth also in Dayton, TN. Although Carolyn had many hobbies her most favorite was spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death also by her son David Kilgore.

Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory one daughter Amada Kilgore Burton, her big brother Jimmy (Mari) Kilgore, grandchildren Kaine (Hannah) Burton, Chandler Burton, Alexis (Colten King) Burton of Knoxville, TN , and David "Bubba" Burton, great grandchildren Kaidan, Sawyer and Ivy Burton, her Special Favorite Friend,  numerous other extended family members and a host of special friend.
