Carmita Perkins

Carmita Perkins, 96, of Sale Creek, TN, born on December 2, 1929, passed away on January 15, 2026. She was born and raised in East Nashville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Quillian Perkins; sister, Dolores Brown; and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Climer.

She is survived by her daughter, Becki (David) Wilson, grandsons, Anderson (Marlene) McRae, Geoffrey (Arial) McRae; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Ethan McRae; sister, Myrna Whitehead, a lot of nieces and nephews, and a long-time friend, Mary Jo Baird.

The family will hold a graveside service at Standifer Cemetery off Leggett Road in Sale Creek, TN. Service times will be announced at a later date.
