Carl Junior Wright

Carl Junior Wright, of Dunlap, Tennessee, formerly of East Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

Carl was born in Oliver Springs, TN on December 21, 1955 to Grace (Singleton) Wright and Gilbert Wright Jr, both are now deceased.

Carl grew up in East Chattanooga, where he graduated from Kirkman High School.

Carl was a mechanic by trade and an avid classic car and truck enthusiast. His pride and joy were his children Tiffany and Chris and his grandchildren. He enjoyed his visits to Kentucky where he loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Carl is preceded in death by his wife Teresa Wright, father Gilbert Wright Jr, mother Grace Wright, brother Larry Wright, nephew Christopher Bowman and nephew David Tate.

Carl is survived by his daughter Tiffany (Gary) , son Chris (Ariel), grandchildren Kristina, Michael, Christopher and Jason. Sisters Brenda (Ken) Tate, Louise (Randy) Frisbee, Bobby (Pete) Bowman, brother Wayne (Fawn) Wright along with several nieces and nephews.

Following his request services there will be no services. Arrangements were made by Companion Funeral Home & Cremation, Cleveland, TN.
