Listen to Obituary

Jerry Noble, a devoted servant of Christ, whose life was marked by unwavering faith and a passion for sharing the Gospel, peacefully entered his eternal home on Thanksgiving Day, November 27, 2025, at the age of 85. His greatest joy was loving the Lord and leading others to know Him, a calling he fulfilled across nations and generations.

Jerry was born on September 23, 1940, in Dayton, Ohio. He studied at Sinclair College and Lee College, equipping himself for a lifelong career in ministry. In January 1964, he married his beautiful bride, Paula Mae Gibson, a partnership that impacted countless lives for Christ.

Shortly after their marriage, Jerry and Paula began leading revivals and ultimately accepted an evangelistic appointment to South Africa, where they served faithfully through three separate appointments over the years. Jerry also pastored churches along with leading revivals across the United States. His influence reached far beyond the pulpit when, alongside his beloved friend Carl Richardson, he directed the world-renowned radio and television ministry Forward In Faith, which brought the message of Christ to millions. Later on, Jerry then rooted his family back into Cleveland, TN where he became the Marketing Director for Pathway Press. His last appointment was as Associate Pastor at Mt. Olive Ministries, where he continued to shepherd and encourage others.

Jerry was known for his deep love for family, his steadfast faith, and his humble spirit. He accomplished much in his 85 years yet remained grounded in his devotion to God, family, and his care for people. Outside of ministry, he found joy in cattle farming and the beauty of the outdoors.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Paula Noble, of 62 years; his son Jeremy Noble; daughters Melissa Noble Rymer (Scott Rymer) and Alesha Noble McPherson (Blake McPherson); grandchildren Seth Snyder (Kamile Snyder), Christian Noble, Victoria Kilby (Zach Kilby), Finn McPherson, Elisha Rymer; great-grandchildren Beau Snyder, Micah Kilby and Cami Kilby; brother Steve Noble. Jerry is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents Carl and Gladys Noble; brother Roger Noble; grandson Noble Chandler Snyder.
