Obituary
Carl James Tyson, 70, of Cleveland, TN passed away on Wednesday surrounded by his family. His sunrise was on October 19, 1942 in Osage City, KS, and his sunset occurred on August 14, 2013 in Cleveland, TN. He was a veteran, serving his country in the Vietnam War.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Susan Tyson. He was a loving dad to John (Susie) Ritchie of OH, Kimberly (Gary) Day, Charles (Jennifer) Tyson, and Timothy (Bridget) Tyson all of Cleveland, TN. He is also survived by his two sisters, Linda Dewitt and Caroline Cortening.
He is preceded in Death by his mother and father, four brothers, two brother in laws, five sisters, and one sister in law. He also leaves behind to cherish his memory one sister in law, Mary Helzer of MI, brother in law, Gene (Kathy) Caverly. He was loving "Papa" to 17 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren. He was also uncle to 10 nieces and 21 nephews. He will be dearly missed and loved always.
The family will receive friends and Kinser Church of God located at 141 Kinser Road SE in Cleveland, TN on Saturday August 17, 2013 from 11:00-1:00pm with a service following visitation at the church.
