Candace Fay Ellis, 76, passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. A lifelong resident of High Point, Georgia, Candy was born to the late Leonard and Alva Boss Gilley. In her earlier years, she was known for being a talented hairdresser. Candy loved reading, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, Candy was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Ellis.

She is survived by her three children, Cres Levin, Allen (Heather) Dillard, and Evan (Nicki) Medley; grandsons, Benjamin (Emily) Levin, Lee (Tiffany) Dillard, Chandler Dillard, Oliver Medley and Elliott Medley; great-grandsons, Bentley and Greyson; and brother, Daryl (Louise) Gilley; niece, Erin (Evan) Gilley; nephew, Marc (Rachel) Gilley; great-nephew, Parker Gilley; and a host of extended family members and beloved friends.

A Celebration of Candy’s Life will begin at 1:00PM on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Chattanooga Valley Church of the Nazarene located at 2853 Chattanooga Valley Road, in Flintstone, GA 30725.
