Candy Devries

Candy Denise Devries, born June 17, 1967, passed away April 24, 2025 surrounded by family. A dedicated manager at Subway, Candy exemplified hard work and determination, pouring her heart and soul into everything she did. Her pride in life shone brightly, particularly on the occasions she would share memorable moments with her beloved children, Summer Devries, Anthony Devries, and Ben Foster.

Candy cherished family time above all else, making every moment count. Whether shopping, cooking together, or enjoying movie nights, she created lasting memories filled with laughter and love. A regular at Tres Hermanos, she found joy in their cheese dip and chicken fajita nachos every Thursday, a tradition that brought her family closer.

Candy was not only a loving mother but also a proud grandmother and mother-in-law to Shandel (Anthony) Devries, and grand children Abigail, Anastasia, and Levi Devries. Her niece Stormy "Gracie" Cain and sister Melissa Cain will carry her spirit forward, forever honoring the love and laughter she generously shared. A woman of resilience, Candy worked tirelessly to earn everything she desired, including the prideful moment of acquiring her very own pair of favorite shoes.

Candy will be missed deeply, but her legacy of love, dedication, and joy will live on through her family and friends. A celebration of her life and memories will take place with cremation scheduled for May 8, 2025.
