In Loving Memory of
Caleb Colton Howard
Sunrise - Sunset
August 28, 1989 - April 3rd, 2026 (Good Friday)
With heavy hearts and deep love, we announce the passing of Caleb Colton Howard, age 36, who went to be with the Lord after a courageous and hard-fought battle with ALS.
Caleb was a wonderful, adventurous soul with a fearless spirit. He was drawn to anything adrenaline-pumping-always seeking the next thrill, the next challenge, and the next story to tell. He lived boldly and fully, never afraid to follow his own path. Stubborn in the best of ways, Caleb faced life head-on, and even in his hardest moments, that strength never left him.
He was a very handsome young man, known for his beautiful blue eyes and a presence that could light up any room. But above all, Caleb was his mama's sweet boy-a bond filled with deep love, pride, and tenderness that never wavered.
Though ALS may have taken his physical strength, it never took his courage, his spirit, or who he was. Caleb fought bravely until the very end, showing everyone around him what true strength and resilience look like.
In his final and most heroic act, Caleb became an organ donor, saving four lives. Even in passing, he gave the ultimate gift of life to others. He is, and will always be, a hero-a true hero.
Survived by his two daughters, Lexis Jade Peeples and Kingslee Grace Peeples; son, Lucas Croft; devoted mother, Suzanne Howard; father, Erik Purins and his wife, Mia Purins; cousins, Haylee Jacklyn Baker and her husband, Trey Baker, and Lee Howard; Extended family and many dear friends.
Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 26th, 2026, from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM, 670 Marble Top Road, Chickamauga, Georgia. Casual attire is encouraged.
A Final Tribute
Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing Caleb is now free-whole, healed, and at peace in the presence of the Lord. On Good Friday, a day that reminds us of sacrifice, love, and the promise of eternal life, Caleb's passing carries a deeper meaning of faith, redemption, and hope.
In Lieu of Flowers, he family kindly asks that guests consider bringing a perennial potted plant. These will be used to create a memorial garden at the new home in honor of Caleb-a living tribute to his life and legacy.
