Brittany Lea Roddy, age 34, passed away October 4th, 2026. Born on April 29th, 1992 in Chattanooga, Tn. Brittany was a daughter, a sister, a niece, and a friend too many. Brittany loved everyone she knew, she could always make friend in a crowded room.
Brittany is preceded in her death by her grandparents, Charlotte Womack, Don and Linda Roddy, and Devaughn Massengale, as well as her baby gone too soon. We all know she was welcomed to heaven with open arms, and she finally was able to hold her baby, the one thing she longed to do.
Brittany had the biggest heart, she loved hard. Brittany was a wonderful fur mama to her babies Kota and Little Girl, and her baby boy Jeep in heaven waiting for his mama. Brittany was also a mother, though the time she carried her baby was short, she was a mom nonetheless. Brittany’s proudest accomplishment was graduating college for dental assisting, asthat was her dream.
Brittany lived a life of , living in the moment. She was always up for a good time, she knew how to make you look at life differently. She always wanted everyone’s life to be easier despite the weight it would bring to her shoulders.
She is survived by her Mother, Kimberly Massengale, Fathers Steve (Jennifer) Roddy, Robert Massengale (Debbie), Grandfather, Sterlin Womack. Grandmother, Bobbie Massengale. Siblings, Joshua Roddy, Brandi Massengale, and Savannah Roddy. Cousins Brooklyn Reel, Annisa Reel, Will (Kendall) Olive, Nash (Anna) Olive, Casey Orrell, Kelsey (Drew) Moreland, Zach (Amy) Massengale, Lynde (Rusty) Thompson, Richie Womack Jr. (Hannah). So very many dear Aunts - Gina (Chad) Reel, Missy Olive, Donna (Terrell) Lancaster, Uncles Richard (Vickie) Womack, Mike (Gina) Massengale, Rusty (Debbie) Massengale, Terry Massengale and her Nephews - Bentley, Cooper, Carter, and Hayden who she loved so dearly. Brittany had the joy of being part of both big and blended families this left her so many more wonderful people in her life more cousins, aunts and uncles, even great aunts and uncles. Her best friends Amber Delaney, Amber’s daughter Neylynn who was a bright part of Brittanys life, and Kasey Allen who she always said was one of her boys. Frank Torres who she also had a very special bond with as well. God knew Brittany needed a big heart to love and care for so many.
In honor of Brittany’s wishes rather than a viewing she wanted those to remember her as she was full of life and happy, for this reason family wishes for all friends and family to please join them for a celebration of life. The celebration of life will be held Friday October 9th, 2026, from 4pm-6pm - services will follow at 6pm.
