Brenda Sue Swallows

Obituary
 Brenda Sue Swallows, 55, left her earthly home on Friday morning October 26th 2012 and joined her Lord and Savior in her Heavenly home He had prepared for her. Brenda was a lifelong resident of the Old Fort Tennessee area. She was born in Cleveland, TN on June 9, 1957 a daughter of the late Donald and Vida Thompson. Brenda was of the Baptist faith and a devoted member of the Samples Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Brenda also dearly loved and cherished her church family and friends from Samples Memorial.
In addition to her parents, Brenda is preceded in death a daughter Jennifer Sue Swallows, one sister Linda Ramsey, and two brothers Dennis Thompson and Steve Thompson.
Brenda leaves behind to cherish her memory, one son Jeff Swallows (Tonya Hixson) of Old Fort, three brothers Billy Thompson, Robert Thompson, and Eddie Thompson, four grandchildren Dimitree Evans, Mackenzie Swallows, Justin Swallows, and Devon Callahan, special friends Sharon Scoggins and Debbie Swallows, and numerous other extended family members and friends.
A celebration of her life is planned for Sunday night, October 28, 2012 at 7:00 PM the Samples Memorial Baptist Church located at 371 Samples Chapel Road SE, Cleveland, TN 37311 with the Reverend Mark Cameron officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
Family and friends will assemble on Monday, October 29, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Old Fort, TN for interment with Greg Swallows, Chris Evans, Lane Greenwood, Toot Swallows, Jamie Hixson, and Steven Callahan serving as pallbearers.
