Brenda Boyd

Brenda Boyd, age 74, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. She was born on April 16, 1951, and left her earthly home on December 1, 2025.

A lifelong resident of Etowah, Tennessee, Brenda graduated from McMinn Central High School in 1969. She was a devoted stay-at-home mother while raising her four children. Later, she entered the workforce as an exceptional seamstress, sharing her talents with several local companies.

Brenda loved worshipping the Lord and singing in the choir at Star Bethel Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed watching college and NBA basketball, fishing, shopping, cooking, and spending time with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard Jackson Sr. and Rachel Jackson; her brothers, Howard Jackson Jr., Robert Jackson, and James Fain; and her sister-in-law, Sandra Jackson.

She is survived by her four children: Felicia (Shantavian) McCroskey, Delton (Natasha) Boyd, Damion (Shannon) Boyd, and Demetria Boyd. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Brenda will be deeply missed by her dear and devoted friend, Barbara Arnwine.

There will be no formal services at this time.
