Brenda Joyce Sharp Berry, born on August 28, 1949 in Fort Payne, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home in Charleston, TN. on Thursday July 30, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and devotion to her family.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Adam Cleveland Berry. Together they built a family that was the center of her life. She is also survived by her three children: Tabitha (Michael) Blevins, Christopher (Ashley) Berry, and Deanna (Dezmond) Bredlow.
In addition to her children, Brenda lovingly raised her niece, DeAnna Shelton, and her nephew Michael (Brigitte) Shelton, whom she loved as her own.
Brenda was a proud and loving grandmother to Johnathon (Haley) Jacobs, MaKayla (Christian) Harris, William Blevins, Patrick (Delana) Blevins, Austin Berry, Dameon Berry, Koby (Ashley) Berry, Kyndall (Jasilyn) Berry, Brooklyn Berry, Camryn Berry, Thea Berry, Joshua Helms, and Kayley Bredlow, Wesker Galloway, Henery Galloway, Jasper Shelton. She is also survived by 2 grand-pups: Vayla Berry and Pepper Blevins. She played an especially important role in raising four of her grandchildren-Dameon Berry, Koby Berry, Kyndall Berry, and Brooklyn Berry- surrounding them with the same unconditional love, guidance, and care that defined her life.
She was blessed with 16 great grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Griff Sharp; her mother, Denia Morrison Sharp; and her beloved granddaughter, Christina Berry.
Brenda will be remembered for her unwavering love for her family, her generous heart, and the countless memories she created with those she loved. Her kindness, wisdom, faith, and enduring spirit will continue to live on through the generations she helped shape.
Join us as we celebrate the life and memories of Brenda Joyce Berry. Gathering will be held at the home of Andy and Michele Montague, on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 2:00 pm EST, located at 799 Norfolk Green Circle, Chattanooga, TN. 37421.
