Bobby Dewayne Grissom

Bobby Dewayne Grissom, 54, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on August 8, 2026.

Bobby was born on May 28, 1972, to Dewayne and Dorothy Grissom. He enjoyed spending time outdoors, especially fishing and hunting, and had a lifelong love for hot rods, particularly Chevrolets.

Bobby was preceded in death by his father, Dewayne Grissom; his grandmother, Virginia Quinn; and his son, Steven Whaley.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Travis Grissom (Sam) and Zach Greer (Lacy); his mother, Dorothy Rogers; his sisters, Tammy Rouse (Travis), Tina Lawson (Jason), and Cindy Grissom (Roy); his nieces, Tiffany Prince, Haley Lawson, and Courtney Underwood; his nephew, Peyton Cooper; along with extended family members and friends who will miss him dearly.

Bobby's family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2026, in the Ridge Sanctuary at Companion Funeral Home, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311. A Celebration of Life service will follow the visitation at 3:00 p.m. Bobby will be laid to rest at Shiloh Baptist Cemetery following the service.
