Bobby "Barry" Harold Griffin II, age 59, passed away on March 10, 2026. Barry was a man known for his kindness, generosity, and the joy he brought to those around him. He had a special gift for making people smile and truly never met a stranger. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Barry touched countless lives through his compassion and genuine care for others.
Barry loved sports in every form. He enjoyed playing softball and golf, and he was an enthusiastic fan who loved attending high school, college, and professional sporting events. Whether playing, watching, or cheering from the stands, sports were a meaningful part of his life.
He also cherished time outdoors. Barry found happiness in yard work, hiking, camping, and spending time on the beach. He had a deep love for animals and a natural appreciation for the beauty of the outdoors. Above all, Barry was a loyal friend and a devoted family man who placed his family at the center of his life.
At the age of 14, Barry gave his life to Jesus, a faith that remained an important foundation throughout his life.
Barry was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Griffin.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Griffin; his mother, Jackie Griffin; his sister, Patti Lilly; and his niece, Lauren Slaathaug. Each of them, along with many extended family members and friends, will forever cherish the memories they shared with him.
A visitation will be held on Monday, March 16, 2026, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home - Ridge Sanctuary, with a memorial service following at the conclusion of visitation, officiated by Pastor Ashley Mew.
