Bobby A. Stansberry

Bobby A. Stansberry, 80, a lifelong resident of this area passed away on Thursday, December 24th, 2015 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born in Charleston, TN on August 14th, 1935 a son of the late Dewey & Leona Stansberry. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church of God. Bobby was a well-known car dealer in this area since the age of 16.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his loving faithful wife of fifty four years Wilma Gaston Stansberry, one grandson Colby Stansberry, two sisters Ruby Thomas and Evelyn Burris and three brothers Lee Stansberry, Gene Stansberry and Tom Stansberry.
Bobby leaves behind to cherish his memory four children Debbie Gentry (Allan), Charles Stansberry, Terry Stansberry (Michelle) and Jeff Stansberry, grandchildren Aaron Stansell, Stephen Stansell(Shelby) all of Athens, TN, Brittany Lowe, Bethany Wesley, Beth Clark, Kelly Martin and Brynn Stansberry, great grandchildren-Xavier, Bryson, Andrenee, Zack, Noah, Landon, Sarah, Madison, Aiden & Leighton, two sisters Barbara Burris and Nancy Sneed (William), three brothers J. D. Stansberry, Ken Stansberry and Donnie Stansberry, numerous other extended family members and a host of special friends.
A celebration of his life is planned for Sunday night, December 28th, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Mt. Olive Ministries located at 3522 Harrison Pike Cleveland, TN with the Reverend Gary Sears officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday afternoon from 3:00 PM until the 7:00 PM service time.
A private family interment will take place on Monday in the Mt. Olive Cemetery where Bobby will be laid to rest by his wife Wilma.
