Birtice Imogene O'Dell

Birtice Chapman O’Dell, age 75 of Ooltewah, departed this life on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at her residence. Born on December 8, 1945 in Fort Payne, Alabama to the late J.B and Doxie Holcomb Chapman , she was a longtime resident of Hamilton County and was of the Baptist Faith. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, and watching her favorite shows on TV.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Erby O’Dell; and brothers, John Holcomb and Buddy Chapman.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Tammy Hines and Margaret Nabors(Wade II); sister Wanda Kessler; as well as several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, several extended family members and a host of friends.
A Private service to celebrate the life of Birtice Imogene Chapman O’Dell will be held at a later date.
