Billy Thompson

Billy E. Thompson, 64, passed away on June 13, 2025.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Vida Lee Ray Thompson and Donald Eugene Thompson; sisters, Linda Jean Thompson Ramsey and Brenda Sue Thompson Swallows; brothers, Steve Allen Thompson, Dennis Dean Thompson, and Eddie Lamar Thompson; and niece, Jennifer Swallows.

He is survived by his daughter, Jeni Lyn (Scott) Dove; nephews, Jeff Thompson, Nathan Thompson, and Jeffrey Swallows; and nieces, Sandy Ramsey, Robin Ramsey, and Kristy Thompson Goodner.

Billy worked in carpentry for many years. He enjoyed drag racing, had a great sense of humor, and cared deeply for others.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Companion Funeral Home, Original Chapel. A service will follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Guinn Green officiating. Burial will be at Lee Cemetery.
