Billy Joe Dixon, 67, a lifelong resident of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away unexpectedly on August 22, 2025, following a car accident. Billy was a devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather, and son who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Billy spent many years working at the Cleveland Chair Factory and also enjoyed hauling cars. He was known as a hardworking man who always made sure his family was taken care of. Outside of work, Billy loved camping, fishing, traveling, and spending time in the mountains. He especially cherished moments with his children and grandchildren. A proud Tennessee Vols fan, Billy also enjoyed cookouts, time with friends, and being surrounded by family. He had a strong faith in God and treasured the times he was able to attend church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Jane Dixon; his beloved wife, Teresa Dixon; brothers, Eddie Dixon and L.A. Smith; and his son, Daniel Dixon.

Billy is survived by his children, Adam Dixon and Amanda Dixon; stepdaughters, Toni Crisp and Tonya Crisp; stepson, DJ Green; grandchildren, Kizziah Dixon, Destanee Dixon, Tori (Jacob) Reeves, and Tray Reeves; step-grandson, Dakota Ward; brother, Andy Carney; sister, Betty Hicks; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Friday, August 29, 2025, at Companion Funeral Home - Cleveland Chapel. Visitation will take place from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by the memorial service at 6:00 p.m., officiated by Rev. Guinn Green. A private burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
