Billy Ray Barbee

Billy Ray Barbee, 44, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on September 10, 2026. He was born on February 14, 1982.

Billy was a man who enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved spending time outdoors coon hunting and fishing, and when he wasn't outside, he could often be found playing on his phone. Those who knew Billy will also remember that he rarely went anywhere without a can of Copenhagen Wintergreen close by. Billy will be remembered for the many memories he shared with his family and friends and for the unique personality that made him who he was.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chester "Ray" Barbee; brother, Jeffrey Barbee; paternal grandparents, Raymond and Jane Barbee; and maternal grandparents, Billy and Molly Denton.

Billy leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, Angela Barbee; brothers, David Cook and Jacob Cook; sister, Jordan Koob; along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, extended family members, and many friends.

Billy's family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the Shelton Parlor of Companion Funeral & Cremation Service, located at 2412 Georgetown Road NW, Cleveland, TN 37311.
