Betty Swafford

Betty Swafford, of Georgetown, TN, a lifelong resident of this area, departed for heaven on Friday morning, May 27, 2022 with her family by her side. She was born in Calhoun, TN in 1946 to the late C.L.and Bennie Swafford; and was proceded in death by her beloved brother, Ronnie.
Betty was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She was a follower of the Christian faith. She had a lifelong love of animals and nature. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband of 59 years, David Lee Swafford; four sons and daughters-in-law, and grandchildren, Richard and Lisa, Scott and Cheryl, David and Deena, and Shane Swafford. Sarah, Ashlee, and Miranda Swafford, and Christopher and Jeremy Stewart. Numerous cousins and friends. Special cousin, Anetha and her husband Ron Campbell; her best friend, Judy Lynn; and her beloved schnauzer dog, Brutus.
The family will hold a private graveside service.
