Betty Jo Mcguffey

Betty Jo Shaver McGuffey died peacefully on May 27, 2022, in Cleveland, TN, at the age of 83.

She is preceded in death by her husband, George; her parents, James and Bertha Shaver; and her sister, Ladell.

She survived by her brother, Roy, and nephews, Scott and Mike.

Betty was born in Shreveport, LA. She was a devoted wife and enjoyed being around family. She fought a hard battle with Alzheimer’s disease and heart disease, but she always kept a smile on her face. She was a strong Christian who is now looking down on us with her pretty brown eyes.

There will be a graveside memorial service for family and friends in Plain Dealing, LA, at a date to be announced soon. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to your family charity.
