Betty Sue Beaty

Betty Sue Beaty, 88, of Cleveland, Tennessee, passed away on April 25, 2026. She was born on July 29, 1937.

Sue was a beloved member of her family and community. A devout Christian, she was deeply rooted in her faith and most concerned with the salvation of others, especially those she loved most. She will be remembered for her kindness, strength, beauty, and the love she shared with those around her.

She had a deep love for her family and cherished times when everyone could be together, reminiscing about fun times and special memories. She also enjoyed talking on the phone with her friends and family and loved going shopping.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Beaty; her parents, Mary and Charlie Hayes; her daughter, Denise Culpepper; her son, Mike Boggess; and her grandson, Houston Knight.

She is survived by her children, Elaine (Donnie) Wear and Gary Boggess; her stepchildren, Doug Beaty Jr. (Tracey), Sharon Colaw (Brad), Chris Beaty, and Mike Beaty; her siblings, Harold Hayes, Barbara Bishop, Jerry (Janice) Hayes, and Judy Kitts; her grandchildren, Ray (Rosyln) Wear, Brittney (Chad) Davis, Christy (Micheal) Peden, Lee (Geneva) Boggess, Al (Jenna) Morris, April Richards, Isaac (Keshana) Beaty, Parker (Jill) Beaty, and Jamie (Charles) Barker; along with 12 great-grandchildren and a great-grandchild on the way, and her family and friends who will continue to honor her memory in their hearts.

A celebration of Sue's life will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at The Ridge Sanctuary of Companion Funeral Home (2412 Georgetown Rd, Cleveland, TN). Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with the service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens (North Lee Hwy, Cleveland, TN).

Pallbearers include Caleb Peden, Luke Peden, Micheal Peden, Braxton Davis, Chad Davis, Parker Beaty, Destin Morris, and Corey Limburg. Honorary Pallbearers are Ethan Peden, Drew Davis, Kai Morris, Kyle Boggess, Jake Wear, and Ella Wear.

Betty Sue Beaty will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
