Benton Lamar Tucker

Benton Lamar Tucker, 62, of signal Mountain, TN, passed away peacefully December 7, 2025, in Chattanooga, TN. He was born June 20, 1963, and of the Baptist faith. He attended Lone Oak Baptist Church, under Pastor Jonathan Milligan. Mostly known by "Benny" to family and "Twist" to his friends.

Ben lived his life with an open heart and adventurous spirit. Whether he was riding his motorcycle, paddling across quiet waters, or casting a line on a calm morning, he found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of being outdoors.

Ben's greatest passion was people. He never met a stranger, greeting everyone with the same warmth, easy smile and genuine hug that made you feel at home. He gave generously of himself through cancer benefits, Christmas for kids and countless acts of kindness most of us will never know.

Ben's life was a reminder that grieving doesn't have to be grand to be meaningful, it just has to come from the heart.

Today, we honor a man who lifted others up, loved deeply and made the world brighter by being in it.

Ben leaves a legacy of compassion, laughter and love, one that will continue to inspire all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his father, Newell Tucker; mother, Lois Tucker; son, Trey Tucker (4ever4).

Survived by his wife of 11 years, Carla Tucker; son, Logan (Carly) Tucker, of Lake City, Florida; Step-son, David Johnson, of Chattanooga, TN; daughter, Lindsey (Jacob) Harmer, of High Springs, Florida; step-daughter, Carlie (Zak) Boaen of Soddy Daisy, TN; siblings, Donna (Donnie) Eaton of Decatur, TN and Larry (Jan) Tucker, of Crandall, GA; granddaughter, Lilah Harmer, of Lake City, Florida; mother-in-law, Linda Martin, of Chattanooga, TN; his children's mother, Sandi (Darrell) Tope, of Lake City, Florida and a host of nieces and nephews.
