Bartley "Bart" Maynard Woods

Bartley "Bart" Maynard Woods, age 61, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away surrounded by family on June 5, 2026.

He was born on August 5, 1964, in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He graduated from Hixson High School in 1982 and attended college at Chattanooga State University. He went on to pursue a career as a tool maker. He was employed at Toolcraft, Lookout Industries, Quality Machine, and currently employed at Tuftco.

Bart was known for his passion for music and vintage car restoration. He was a singer, songwriter, and guitarist and played in a local band called The Hodads.

He is survived by his wife, Ann Woods; his son, Derek Hensley; his grandchildren, Jenna and Jake Hensley; and his sister, Jan (Pete) Massengale. He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Maynard Woods, and his mother, Margaret Bean Woods.

A celebration of life will be planned for a future date.
