Tom Hensley

Tom Hensley, 74, passed away on October 16, 2026. He was born to Clyde and Hauda Hensley (both of Livingston, Tennessee), on September 16, 1952, in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Tom was of the Methodist faith. He worked as a professional Photographer in the picture and color labs industry for many years. Some of his places of employment included Olan Mills and Mirror Image, as well as owning Monarch Studios. Tom was a lover of all things music, and was an accomplished drummer- playing in a band locally and other surrounding areas. Tom also liked to buy and sell antiques with his brother. In his free time, he often refinished furniture. He loved people, making new friends wherever he went, and was always ready to greet the world with his wonderful smile.

Tom is preceded in death by his father, Clyde Hensley.

He is survived by his wife, Cynthia "Sam" Hensley, sons, Kody (Nichole) Hensley, Jesse Hensley, siblings, Janie Copeland, Tim Hensley, mother, Hauda Hensley, step-daughters, Conswella (Rusty) Norris, Meagan Branson, Brooke Hilliard, grandchildren , Cooper Hensley, Kyla Hensley, Zach Thompson, Macey McMurray, Noah McMurray, Eliga Hilliard, Logan Nunley, Evan Nunley, Griffin Smith, nephews, Brian (Kim) Copeland, Chad (Kim) Copeland, Brent (Ilka) Copeland, 3 great-granddaughters, and several other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 6:00pm, at Companion Funeral Home - The Cleveland Chapel . The family will be receiving friends from 4:00-6:00pm prior to the service.
