Barbara Aleen Miller

Barbara Aleen Miller, 78, passed away on May 10, 2026. She was born to the late Thelma and Arvil Gourley on August 6, 1947 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee.

Barbara enjoyed doing arts and crafts in her free time. She also loved to worship her Lord and Savior through singing.

In addition to her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by her ex-husband, James Miller, siblings, Mary Lou Thomas, Linda Watson, Charles Gourley, Eddie Gourley, nieces, Denise Gregory, Teresa Ellis, nephews, Mickey Stewart, and Jackie Steward.

Barbara is survived by her children, Kay Price, Michael (Gail) Miller, Dr Stephen (Dr. Keith Hnilica) Miller, grandchildren, Cody (Lynda) Price, Nick Price, Caleb Miller, Caroline Miller, Kimberly (Mark) Skelton, great-grandchildren, Chelsea (Stephen) Marcus, Garrett Hammontree, Mason Price, Mia Price, great-great-granddaughter, Zoe Marcus, siblings, Jerry (Nancy) Gourley, Carolyn (Claud) Stewart, Debbie (Greg) Colvin, nephews, Craig Stewart, Josh Colvin, Kevin Gourley, Jared Gourley, Jody Stewart, and nieces, Lacey Teague, Lindsey Yates, Peggy Hester, and Christy Martin.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 6:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Pastor Carroll Hamilton officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers the family ask that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Barbara's name.
