Barbara Melton

Barbara Faye Melton, 60, passed away on April 10, 2024. She was born to the late Raymond and Margaret (Smith) Crowder and raised in the Decatur/Athens area.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and husband, JB Melton.

She is survived by her children, Melissa Benton, Emily (husband, Chase) Farrar, Stephanie (fiancé, Corey King) Purkey, Zachary (wife, Haylee) Hawkins; grandchildren, Hayden Mashburn and Anna Campbell, Jake Paisley and Chance Farrar, Brooklyn Purkey and Cooper King, and Bristol and Blakely Hawkins.

Cremation will take place.
