Barbara (McKee) Beasley, age 77, of Ringgold, Georgia, passed away on August 30, 2026. Barbara was born on September 2, 1948, in McDonald, Tennessee, to the late Elmer “Jack” Mangrum and Mamie Jo Wilson Mangrum. Barbara lived a life filled with love, faith, family, and many wonderful memories. For 45 years, she worked as a hairdresser, a career that allowed her to use her talents while forming countless friendships and touching the lives of many people along the way. She was a devoted member of Peavine Baptist Church in Rock Spring, Georgia, and dearly loved her church family. Her faith was an important part of her life and a source of strength throughout the years. Barbara enjoyed life and knew how to make it full. She loved playing golf, traveling, shopping, cooking, and baking. Above all, her greatest joy was her love for Jesus and family. She treasured the time she spent with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and leaves them with a lifetime of memories to cherish.

Barbara is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Horace Beasley; her daughters, Michelle, Donna, and Sulicia (Shane); her grandchildren, Josh, Blair, Justin, Shaelyn, Haley, and Taleea; and her great-grandchildren, Chloe, Emilea, Axle, Jayden, Boo, Caison, Keylyn, Michael, and X’Zavion. She is also survived by her siblings, Douglas (Sandy), Rick (Sherry), Norma (Melvin), and Daniel (Sherrie), along with many other family members, friends, and loved ones whose lives were made brighter by knowing her.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer “Jack” Mangrum and Mamie Jo Wilson Mangrum; her first husband, Herschel McKee; and her granddaughter, Brie Harvill.

Those who loved Barbara will remember her not only for the things she enjoyed or the work she did, but also for the love she gave so freely. Her influence will continue through her daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as through the many lives she touched during her 77 years. Although her family will miss her more than words can express, they find comfort in knowing that her earthly journey is complete and that the faith she held so dearly has become sight.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith.”
