Ashtyn Violet Caldarera came into the world March 2nd, 2019 with such tenacity. From the get go, Ashtyn was a fighter. She came out four weeks early and in a whirlwind. What was expected to only be a two hour earthly visit, turned into seven glorious years. She passed peacefully in her parent's arms on June 9th, 2026.

Seven years full of laughter, sass, attitude, and love. Ashtyn was the epitome of sunshine. Her beautiful blonde hair, beautiful blue eyes, and big radiant smile were perfect examples of that. Ashtyn was a warrior. She battled through surgery after surgery, sickness after sickness, hospital stay after hospital stay. She defied all odds.... well, she and Jesus did.

Ashtyn without a doubt had the most contagious laugh. It was without a doubt the most amazing sound that ever graced anyone's ears who were lucky enough to hear it. She loved making others laugh with it, even when it wasn't the most appropriate time. She loved all things life: being outside, being in the water, classic rock, Bluey, animals. She loved life & took every day head on. And every single day was a true miracle.

She battled through it all with her father Alex Caldarera, and her mother Cassidy Caldarera, whom she is survived by. Ashtyn was and still very much is the center of their world. In addition to her parents, she is survived by her paternal grandparents, Robert Caldarera-Brown (Joey Brown) and Gracie Caldarera; her maternal grandparents, Robert and Jessica Osburn; her uncles, Nathan (Jessica) Caldarera and Robert (Tailor) Osburn; her aunts, Skylar (Bobby) Hutchins and Ava Osburn; her cousins, Graysyn Hutchins and Brynnlei Osburn; and her great-grandmothers, Carol Osburn and Norma Johnson. She is also survived by several great-aunts and great-uncles, as well as several adopted grandparents, aunts, uncles, sisters, brothers, and cousins, all of whom she adored. She is preceded in death by her great-grandfathers, Charles Phifer, Robert Osburn, and Randy Johnson.

Our worlds are crushed and our hearts are broken into a million pieces, but we know she was made perfect when she reunited with her maker. She is finally living out the prayers we never stopped praying. She is finally walking, not here on earth, but walking the streets of gold with her hot pink nails. She is finally speaking, not about boys with her mom, but forever speaking words of praise. She is finally dancing, maybe not with her dad on her earthly wedding day, but as the bride of Christ. We rest knowing He has her and that one day we will be reunited with our Punkinator, Punkin, Sunshine Girl, Punk Butt, Little Bean, Baby, Lover Bugger, Boo, Little Lady, Baby Sweet, Lil Angel, Sweet Ashtyn girl very soon.
