Listen to Obituary

Ariyah Leilani Towles (aka Atlas Clark) cherished daughter of Jameson and Jennifer (Clark) Towles and beloved sister to Mariah Clark and Ciarah Clark was born on June 8, 2006, in Chattanooga, TN, and left us too soon on September 12, 2025. A caring soul with a creative and playful spirit, she lived her life with determination and a good sense of humor.

Ariyah loved arts and crafts, and her artistic talents shone through her expression of drawing, painting, jewelry making, and sewing creative costumes. She liked indoor rock climbing, ju jit su class, and swimming. She enjoyed many memories at her grandparents' pool with cousins, and going horseback riding with friends. She admired antiques and sports cars, and was an enthusiastic organizer. Her love of music began with singing her own original songs as a toddler and later included piano, banjo, and ukulele. In school, she enjoyed learning about chemistry and participating in creative writing and drama class. She graduated with the class of 2025 from Hamilton County Virtual School, and was looking forward to applying to college to study art and psychology.

Ariyah's favorite way to spend her time was with those she loved. She didn't miss an opportunity to participate in movie night, baking, making silly videos, playing games, acrobatics on the trampoline, or speeding thru the neighborhood on the family golf cart. As a child, she was fond of storytelling, as Weeza (Aunt Stephanie) told impromptu tales following the adventures of a fictional squirrel family. Stories shared by her Grandpa Towles became lasting memories, especially treasured accounts from his childhood and family history. She also adored the company of her beloved pets - teaching tricks to her dog, Togo, and watching him play with his feline sidekick, Sparrow.

Ariyah is loved and survived by her family: her parents (Jamey and Jennifer Towles), sisters (Mariah Clark and Ciarah Clark), paternal grandparents (Doug and Carolyn Towles), maternal grandparents (David and Diana Clark), aunts (Katrina Holt and Stephanie Stinson), cousins (James Holt, Emmy Holt, London Goddard, and Emma Goddard), and niece (Juneau Cordwell).

She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her memory will live on in the lives she touched and in the stories shared.

The family will host a celebration of Ariyah's life, inviting friends and loved ones to gather and reminisce of the joy she brought to all of us. The service will take place October 11 at 3:00 p.m. at the Apison SDA church.
