Amy Denane Tankersley

Amy Tankersley, 50, passed away on July 13, 2026. She was born on October 14, 1975.

Amy will be remembered for her love of the outdoors and the simple things in life. She enjoyed spending time at yard sales, fishing, caring for her beloved pets, and reading her Bible. Her kind heart and love for her family will be cherished by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Eskel Owens; her mother, Elavee Marie Wilson; her brother, Derrick Wilson; her grandmother, Edna May Owens; and her niece, Kayla Tankersley.

Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Mark Tankersley; her son, Jake Tankersley; her stepson, Jeremy Tankersley; her father, Winston Wilson; her brother, Chad Wilson; her nephews, Jimmy Wilson, Joseph Wilson, Tyler Orr, Riley Wilson, and Eli Massey; and her nieces, Tabitha Wilson, Mia Tankersley, Carmon Wilson, and Katrina Massey, along with many other extended family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

A Graveside Service will begin at 11:00am on July 15, 2026 at Archville Baptist Church Cemetery located at 102 Archville Rd, Reliance, TN 37369, with Pastor Josh Frank officiating. Pallbearers serving the family will be Mike Tankersley, Chad Wilson, Timmy Wilson, Tyler Orr, and Steve Lowe.
