Alvin James Crosby Jr.

Alvin "Bobby" Crosby of Knoxville, Tennessee, was born on December 25, 1948, and departed this life on May 31, 2026, at the age of 77.

Mr. Crosby was a beloved member of his community and will be fondly remembered for his warm and welcoming spirit. He was known for his ever-present smile and his kindness toward others. He found great enjoyment in taking long walks throughout his East Knoxville neighborhood and was dedicated to serving others through his volunteer work at local food pantries.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin James Crosby, Sr. and Mary Parton Crosby, and by his brothers, Calvin, Benjamin, and David Crosby.

He is survived by his daughter Veronica Crosby, twin sons Albert Crosby and Alvin Crosby III, cherished grandchildren (including grandsons and a granddaughter), a great-granddaughter, a niece and nephew, and his devoted cousin, Debbie Love, who will forever hold his memory close.
