Alma also had a love for music and sang in the North Cleveland Church of God Choir during the 1970s. Her life was marked by a steadfast commitment to her faith, her church, and the generations of family she loved so dearly.
In addition to her parents, Alma was preceded in death by her husband, Merrill Akins; her children, Michael Akins and Brenda Akins; grandson, Johnny Errington; brothers, George Bozeman and Jimmy Bozeman; and son-in-law, Charlie McKenzie.
