Adam Taylor

Adam David Taylor, age 43, passed away June 9, 2025. Born July 2, 1981, in Cleveland, TN, to Jimmy Taylor and Joy Denton.

He was preceded in death by Olaree Messer (Grandmother), James Taylor (Grandfather), Haney Roark (Grandfather), and Irene Roark (Grandmother).

Adam is survived by his mother, Joy (Chris) Denton, his father, Jimmy (Sherry) Taylor, sisters, Kelly (Wade) Ledford, and Savannah Taylor. Also left to cherish his memory are his three nieces, Mallory (Jesse) Cogdell, Morgan Ledford, and Madeline Ledford. He also leaves behind two great nephews, Taylor and Jace Cogdell, to cherish his memory.

Adam was an avid fan of the Tennessee Vols. He enjoyed football and fishing. Adam was a wonderful cook, and he especially loved to grill. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Service for Adam will be held at Companion Funeral Home, Ridge Chapel, Monday, June 16, 2025. The family will receive friends from Noon-2:00. Funeral service will immediately follow with Pastor Clint Ledford officiating. Burial will follow at Union Grove Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Charleston, TN.
