Aaron "A-Town" McCroskey was all of these things and so much more. There are many things that money can buy, but who Aaron was and what he had, money could never purchase. For 39 years, love made Aaron O'Neal McCroskey wealthier than most people will ever be.

Aaron "A-Town" O'Neal McCroskey, 39, of Cleveland, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, July 12, 2026.

There are many people whose faith in God was strengthened because of Aaron. Through every battle he faced, he never stopped speaking about God's goodness or encouraging others to trust Him. Even while carrying burdens of his own, Aaron found strength to lift up those around him. He had an incredible way of making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Time and time again, the stories shared about Aaron are of the moments he showed up without hesitation-whether it was for family, friends, or even someone he had just met. For 39 years, Aaron lived with a heart full of compassion, unwavering faith, and a love that knew no limits.

Aaron was blessed with a gift that cannot be taught-the ability to bring people together. On any given day, you could find his driveway full of cars, family, friends, laughter, and the smell of food on the grill. He was a proud fisherman, a devoted Dallas Cowboys fan, an avid dominoes player, and someone who was always ready to be part of a good time.

He also loved working on cars. If someone's vehicle broke down or needed fixing, Aaron was one of the first people they called. He never expected anything in return; he simply wanted to help. He believed no one should be left stranded, and he was always willing to lend his hands, his knowledge, and his time.

Family was the center of Aaron's world. He adored his nieces and nephews, sharing a bond with them that was filled with love, laughter, guidance, and unforgettable memories. To several children who weren't his by blood,

Aaron became much more than a family friend-he became a father figure, offering encouragement, protection, and unconditional love. He never cared whether someone shared his last name; if you needed him, he claimed you as his own.

Aaron was also a proud mama's boy, never ashamed to show the deep love he had for his mother. He looked up to his pops with admiration and respect, and he made it a priority to check on his MeMom, making sure she always knew she was loved. His heart was rooted in family, and he never let the people he loved question how much they meant to him.

Anyone who knew Aaron also knew the special place Camo held in his heart. Camo wasn't just his dog-he was his loyal companion, always by his side through life's highs and lows. The love and loyalty they shared reflected the kind of heart Aaron had.

Although our hearts are broken by his passing, we find comfort in knowing Aaron is finally at peace. We can only imagine the joy as he was welcomed into Heaven by those who had gone before him, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." His pain is gone, his battles are over, and he is now whole in the presence of the God he faithfully trusted. Until we meet again, Aaron's love, laughter, and legacy will continue to live on in every life he touched.

Aaron was preceded in death by his great-uncles, Ronnie and David Jackson, great-grandmother, Mamie Jackson, grandmother, Carolyn Sweet Jones, great-grandmothers, Eva Mae Sykey and Eva Mae Latham, great-grandfather, Charles Latham, grandfather, Thomas S. McCroskey, and Jason Alston.

He is survived by his wife, Ana McCroskey, children, Jalissa Rodregous, Aaron David McCroskey, Aaireana McCroskey, granddaughter, Daisy McCroskey, father, Thomas (Yolanda) McCroskey, mother, Renee Page, grandparents, RoseMary (Darrel) Jackson, Otis (Carolyn) Latham, siblings, Shyla Jones, Amelia Nicole (Travaar) Armstrong, Thomas E. (Racheal) McCroskey Jr., Porsche McCroskey, Marlin (Trey) McCroskey, Kaitlyn McCroskey, step-siblings, Derrick Herbert, Derrisha May, Shar’vette May, Tie’Lasha Bumphus, and his in-laws, Na Zhita Terrero, Johnathan Terrero, Stephanie Terrero. A celebration of life service will be held on Sunday, July 26, 2026 at 5:00 pm at Companion Funeral Home - The Ridge Sanctuary with Pastor John D. Bruce officiating. The family will be receiving friends from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm prior to the service.
